[squid-users] Using MySQL to authenticate users?

Is there a way to use MySQL for authenticating users on squid?

Actually I've implemented NCSA Authentication and it works pretty well.
As I'm going to learn PHP+MySQL, I was thinking of using MySQL for
authenticating users on both my Intranet website AND squid.

Is this feasible?
