Hi.
I would suggest that you look at PureSight, www.icognito.com.
This product is not a simple url list based product, it is based on
iCognito's ACR technology, that processes urls on the fly, by looking at
their content.
So you do not need to update a list of urls. You get 100% internet coverage
with extremely good accuracy.
The product integrates seamlessly with Squid.
A web based GUI allows you to control policies and users, as well as edit
custom filter lists.
You will find more elaborate explanations on the site.

Good Luck.

Subject: Questions on URL filters

Hi folks,

we're looking for URL filters to use with squid. The requirements would
at least be regularly (e.g. weekly) updated filter lists, the
possibility to filter based on IP adresses, the ability to include
additional URL's and IP addresses as well as the ability to exclude
URL's/IP adresses from the list. A fairly easy administration (GUI?,
browser front end?) of the filter lists would also be nice.

So the question is which tools do you gurus use and what are your
experiences and opinions about them?

Any comments are appreciated.

Thanks,
Frank
