[squid-users] HELP WCCP

Hi all,

I am new to the list, so if this question has been asked direct me to the
right place.

I am trying to use squid in a switch layer 4 environment. It worked fine as
a gateway, but it will get to much traffic if I put it that way, on my real
network.

Here is the layout.

laptop(simulating client) 192.168.150.10/24 -------------

Cisco Switch
SquidServer 192.168.200.10/24--------------------|192.168.200.1/24 |

                        Gateway to the Internet (192.168.0.251/24)---------

My squid server is doing transparent caching. I put my wccp_router as
192.168.200.1. My 3550 switch give me this error every time I start squid.

WCCP-EVNT:???: Unkown msg_type 7 on FastEthernet0/2 from 192.168.200.10

Please send me any info that you have.
