[squid-users] Fw: Possible bug in 2.5STABLE2 with HTTPS and LDAP Auth

Hi all,

I think I may have found a bug in 2.5STABLE2. Our intranet homepage
has a link to an external secure web site. I recently upgraded my Squid
installation from 2.4STABLE6. After the upgrade I noticed that this link
no longer worked as expected. When I click on the link, it asks me for
username/password as it should, but when supplied I get this message:
ERROR
The requested URL could not be retrieved
While trying to retrieve the requested URL: /

If I refresh, then the page loads fine and will continue to load until I
open another browser session which behave the same way.

I then went to our intranet site and tried going to https://rhn.redhat.com.
I got the exact same results. Looking at the access log it looks as though
it is trying to go to the site without the credentials the first time, but
then after the refresh the user is authenticated and everything goes fine.

For reference, I am running squid 2.5STABLE2 on a Redhat Linux 7.1 box. I
am using the LDAP authentication module for auth. Can anyone else
duplicate this problem?

Thanks,
Mark Capelle
