[squid-users] cleaning/stopping corrupted cached objects?

Hello again,

Today I was hitting the site www.aarising.com and most of the graphics
on the page failed to paint but had red x's (IE6). So I hit refresh
and shift-refresh and the page repainted, the logs refetched the pages
but the graphics remained broken/missing.

squidclient PURGE failed to clear it. Only wiping the cache (newfs)
cleared the problem.

The cache.log had nothing but access.log showed SWAPFAIL which, from
the list, I understand to mean it found the object in the cache but
the object was wrong/incorrect. So what can I do to stop this from
happening again and/or fix it in the future (this was the dev twin of
PROD, I won't be able to wipe the cache on the PROD box).

thanks,

Adam
