For graphs you will have to run snmp. After that you can use MRTG +
RRDTOOLS...

I will suggest try to compile snmp from source and check it out. Can u tell
me about your Linux version?

I mean to say, is it Red Hat Linux. If yes then what was the default kernel?

Once upon a time I compile kernel 2.5.x and I was not able to run ppp daemon
after upgrading my ppp daemon with new one. It was working blah blah :)
