[squid-users] Squid slow on active pages.

I have a weird problem.

If I have two clients side by side, one using squid and one going to direct
to the web server.
Doing online queries (Active content, doing backend DB lookups and writes to
it.)

If my users go direct to the pages they get turn around of about 5-10
seconds.
For the same transactions running through squid I get 50-60 second response
time.

I have the same issue with another squid server on a different portion of my
network, and
both servers don't have any load issues. It appears to happen only with
active content.
Normal browsing is fine.
