 it seems that 2.5STABLE3 is upcoming which would include
 the following fixes :

  http://www.squid-cache.org/Versions/v2/2.5/bugs/

 So, if the problem persists in one of the current snapshots,
 (http://www.squid-cache.org/Versions/v2/2.5/)
 it would probably be advisable to let this know to the
 developers via a bug report.
