It is the sibling who asks for authentication..

You have three options:

a) Configure the siblings to accept requests from each other without
requiring authentication.

b) Configuring each server to authenticate themself to the other
sibling when forwarding a request (see the login= cache_peer option).

c) Forward the users authentication. Only possible if you are using
basic HTTP authentication. (see the login= cache_peer option).
