RE: [squid-users] NTLM but still got pop-ups /w IE ?

I did winbinfo -t and winbind -a domain\\username%password. It seems okay.
Still can't figure out what I've been missing here.
Is these steps still required before joining domain (using Samba 2.2.8a) ?
         - cp nsswitch/libnss_winbind.so /lib
         - chmod 755 /lib/libnss_winbind.so
         - ln -s /lib/libnss_winbind.so /lib/libnss_winbind.so.2
