That I do not know. Usually it is the other way around. Maybe there is
a networking error of some kind which prevents this, or the firewall
only blocks the addresses used by your Windows clients (and the Squid
server), not the Linux clients. I do not know.

What I know is that in the access.log entry you showed your Squid
server could not reach the requested ftp site.
