[squid-users] Debug Settings

Greetings,

Love Squid! It helped serve forecasts and photos on hurricane Isabel.

Trying to eek out better performance and so want to use the cachemger.cgi.
So far no luck.

I think my question is:

What would be the recommended debug_options settings to see the IP# Squid is refusing to
make a connection for?

The background: trying to use cachemger.cgi. When I call it, after the login password page
get
Cache Manager Error
connect: (111) Connection refused

I have set my config file in accordance with the FAQ:

        acl manager proto cache_object
        acl localhost src 127.0.0.1/255.255.255.255
        acl example src 199.9.2.136/255.255.255.255
        acl example src 199.9.2.137/255.255.255.255
        acl all src 0.0.0.0/0.0.0.0
        http_access allow manager localhost
        http_access allow manager example
        http_access deny manager
        http_access allow all
