Hello,

I am new to the world of SQUID and I am looking for some help. I am a windows engineer who has taken on the task of managing linux firewalls using squid for proxy servers. My linux knowledge is basic, so please bare with me.

This squid server is constantly restarting. Here is an output of the log that I am receiving every 30 seconds.

(wb_ntlmauth)[13955](wb_ntlm_auth.c:273): fgets() failed! dying..... errno=0 (Success)
(wb_ntlmauth)[13956](wb_ntlm_auth.c:273): fgets() failed! dying..... errno=0 (Success)
(wb_ntlmauth)[13958](wb_ntlm_auth.c:273): fgets() failed! dying..... errno=0 (Success)
(wb_ntlmauth)[13959](wb_ntlm_auth.c:273): fgets() failed! dying..... errno=0 (Success)

I tried to follow some instructions I have for installing squid and when you type the command

/usr/local/samba/bin/wbinfo -t

you should see "secret is good" - I see "secret is bad".

Would anyone have any advise for me? I would greatly appreciate it. I'm in a bind!

Thank you kindly. -David
