Why would you want to base an ACL on Connection:?

Or are you mixing it up with the Referer: request header?

From the manual:

         %{Header} HTTP request header

what this says is that to have the Referer header sent to your helper you
use the format specification %{Referer}

squid.conf.default contains information on all the format codes used by
external_acl_type and the simple protocol used for exchanging this
information with the helper.
