[squid-users] Squid + MRTG problem getting cacheUptime

Hello squid users,

Using MRTG 2.10.12 I defined a target to get the uptime as follows:

Target[cache-uptime]: cacheUptime&cacheUptime:communitystring@localhost:3401

and MRTG throws an error:

WARNING: Expected a number but got '22:17:51'

I looked at the MIB supplied with Squid and cacheUptime is defined as
returning "timeticks." I'm not sure if this disagrees with what
Squid-2.5STABLE4 is actually returning or if there is some other error. Any
assistance would be greatly appreciated.
