[squid-users] [Squid] Assertion failed Error

Hi there,

I got a little problem with Squid. I am using Samba 3.0.2a and Squid 2.5
STABLE5 on RedHat 8 (Kernel 2.4.18-14), authenticating via NTLM with
user and group. I have used the HowTo from IT Managers
(http://itmanagers.net/Documents/File/walkthroughs/~Linux@Samba/Squid+and+Sa
mba+3+-+Walkthrough.html)
with some changes, for I authenticate with a domain; and I have used some
other config options as follows:

Samba:
        --with-winbind
        --with-winbind-auth-challenge
        --with-configdir=/etc/samba
        --with-logfilebase=/var/log/samba
        --with-piddir=/var/lock/samba

Squid:
        --enable-snmp
        --localstatedir=/var
        --sysconfdir=/etc/squid
        --enable-err-language=German
        --enable-auth="ntlm,basic"
        --enable-external-acl-helpers="wbinfo_group"

So far everything worked.

I have not used any special config, just the minimum required and the acl's
needed for group authentication. Authentication though works fine, no
problems at all
after using the modified wbinfo_group.pl from
http://itmanagers.net/postt10.html

But after some time Squid aborted with the following error message:

        2004/03/05 12:08:19| assertion failed: helper.c:323:
"srv->flags.reserved"

Is that an error within Squid or anything else? Would be nice if anyone
could help me with that.
