[squid-users] different IP address for squid - request-outgoing

hello

I want to have the following configuration, if possible

eth0 - IP1
eth1 - IP2
eth1:1 - IP3 - where squid is listening for requests

I want the requests to be sent forward into Internet via eth0, i.e.

a client connects to squid on eth1:1 - IP3 - squid takes the request via eth0, gets the page to be served and serves it finally to the client via eth1:1

am I making any sense ?
