[squid-users] what is normal cpu usage?

Hi!

It seems that my CPU load problem cannot be solved :(

But I am curious, what is normal CPU load?

My box is 2.66Ghz Xeon with SCSI drives, 2-4Mbit/s of traffic, 100
requests/sec maximum. But squid consumes about 60-70% of cpu with
load of 2Mbit/s, any higher traffic bumps cpu usage to 100%. My proxy
is transparent.

Please, tell me what _normal_ cpu usage is, under what traffic/request
load.
