[squid-users] failed to parse NTLMSSP

Dear List,

I've just installed the following onto Redhat 9 with kernel 2.4.20-8:
squid-2.5.STABLE5-1
samba-3.0.2a-2

with the intention of using NTLM auth.

It works but strangely I'm not seeing the domain name in the access.log,
only the username - this is from an I.E. hit when the user has logged
into the domain.

I'm also seeing lots of these in the cache.log:

libsmb/ntlmssp.c:ntlmssp_server_auth(550)
  ntlmssp_server_auth: failed to parse NTLMSSP:

I've done this:
chgrp squid /var/lib/samba/winbindd_privileged/

I wonder if these two problems are related. Ideas are v. welcome.

Regards,
Chris
