Hello Squid Users,
I've been successfully running squid2.5 stable3 on RH9 for about 9 months.
However, last week i patched to stable5 and rebuilt squid. At first
everything seemed to be working fine but then i noticed a lot of activity in
the cache.log file. Squid is stoping and starting every hour or two. Here
are the relevent entries in cache.log :

On occasion i also recieve this warning :

2004/04/07 15:09:23| WARNING: Disk space over limit: 124568 KB > 122880 KB

Obviously this means that the cache is full. Why would squid squid not be
able to delete some older enteries from the cache ?.

Thanks for any help.
