[squid-users] URGENT: I don't want squid to do an IMS request.

Hello everyone,

I am running squid transparently and seems to work fine. Except when I retrieve cached
files like .gifs and .jpgs, I get a TCP_IMS_HIT. The IMS query slows down the retrieval of
the page. With a cellular connection, it really doesn't seem like the image was cached.
How can I make squid not send an IMS query. I have the following in my squid.conf:
reload_into_ims off

Any reply would be appreciated.
thanx
