Sorry Mike,

I did not gather you were aware of the wininet.dll issue.

As to a patched version of the DLL, I have not had time to track it down
on Microsoft's site. A Windows Update does not fix the problem, nor
does re-installing IE 6.0 with SP1. It seems IE only uses the
wininet.dll. It does not install it or update it.

My work around for now has been to use the Windows 2003 Servers with
Terminal Services (RDP sessions) for users needing https access.

If you have time to track it down, please post where to find it. I've
received E-Mails from others looking for a patched wininet.dll.
