Hello list.
I hope to be as clear as possible... here we go:
I need to be able to address via HTTP the computers in our LAN, which
uses a Windows2k (Active Directory) -based domain (foo.bar.it). That is,
I want to be able to connect to my clients just by typing
"http://hostname". I discovered the "append_domain" parameter, which I
set to be ".foo.bar.it" and reloaded squid's configuration. When I type
"http://hostname" I get an error from our parent caching proxy (also
squid), which (obviously) tells me that there's no
"hostnane.foo.bar.it". Now, these things said, how may I reach my
clients just by typing their hostname?

Thank you all!
