Which OS are you using? If you use Linux, check if you're using logrotate for
watching the log files of your system. If you do, you can define the size of
the logfile either in /etc/logrotate.conf or in a special file, e.g.
/etc/logrotate.d/squid . "man logrotate" shows how to use this mechanism. Just
make sure that you call logrotate regularly via cron.
