RE: [squid-users] FW: PHP Problems

Chris,

URL's ending in "au" are all Australian websites and we visit dozens of
these everyday without problems. I figured it's something to do with
the PHP coding and SQUID. But, I'll check the mime.conf and see what's
there.

Regards,

Greg

Check your mime.conf file for a line describing .au file extensions.
Try
removing it and reloading Squid.

I imagine that surfing to http://www.virginblue.com.au/ (notice the
trailing
/) will likely work as well. It's just a url ending in .au that is
confusing Squid.

Hi,

Testing the site with the link you suggested seems to work fine but not
just http://www.virginblue.com.au
Very strange....

Might it have something to do with the mime.conf file? I know that .au
is
an audio file extension of some sort.

Does the same problem occur when surfing to
http://www.virginblue.com.au/index.php?

Hi,

I have struck a problem with Squid whereas when my staff visit
www.virginblue.com.au squid presents users with dialog boxes asking to
download "login.php" and other php scripts and whether or not you choose
to download, open or whatever the site will not load. However bypassing
Squid all is fine and the problem is not apparant. Of course i cannot
setup more rules on the Firewall allowing all staff access direct to
virginblue as all PC's are configured both on the firewall and on their
destops to forcably use the Squid.

What do i do to squid to stop it causing problems with PHP webpages on
the above site? Your help much appreciated.

Regards,

Greg
