Hmm, it's getting weirder here... Another Squid server I have access to
IS able to access the sites I mentioned... So somewhere in the first
server (or perhaps the firewall?) there is something funky going on...
The complication is that I don't really see a pattern in the sites it is
not able to access... :-/

Well, I'll do some more bug-hunting and will keep you all informed on
the outcome! ;)
