This should just be your domain

   dc=mydomain,dc=net

> -D "cn=Bettle\,
> Ron,ou=Users,ou=SOS,ou=Facilities,dc=mydomain,dc=net"
> -w mypassword -f "(&(CN=%u)(objectClass=person))" -H
> ip.of.my.dc

Most want to use samAccountName or similar for the login, not the
"common/full name".
