[squid-users] access.log

Hi!

Two questions concerning Squid's access log:

1. Under what circumstances do TCP_NEGATIVE_HIT/200 log entries occur?
This is kind of contradictory: The web object is not accessible, but it is
delivered to the client with a 200 OK status code.

2. Why does the amount of data delivered to the clients differ from one
response to another although
a) the same URL is accessed and
b) the respective web object is not refreshed ?

Is squid modifying any HTTP headers? Which ones?

Thanks in advance and Happy Christmas!
