www.ibm.com and www.ibm.com/us/ works just fine here using
Squid-2.5.STABLE9 (or very close to.. current Squid-2.5 sources).
Have you tried the notes in Squid FAQ 14. System-Dependent Weirdnesses
<url:http://www.squid-cache.org/Doc/FAQ/FAQ-14.html>. It is possible the
OS where you run Squid is too smart, making either the sites or your
firewall somewhat confused.. There is very many broken firewalls
around malfunctioning when using a modern OS supporting nice extensions
to TCP/IP.
