[squid-users] gateway.dll not only for messenger?

Hi there

in the last weeks we started to block msn messenger for security reasons on our
squid boxes. First we used an acl to block msn messenger via it's mimetype.
However this didn't help with msn messengers latest beta.

So we used a regex acl like "acl messenger url_regex -i gateway.dll". However
this one blocks also some webapplications which also have "gateway.dll" in their
urls but which apparently are not msn messenger related. Has anyone seen this
before? It seems to be some web apps that are running on iis.

I changed the acl to "acl messenger url_regex -i gateway/gateway.dll" and this
seems to still block msn messenger but the other apps will keep working.

Has anyone had a similar experience? Does anyone even know which software uses
that gateway.dll stuff?

Regards
Maik
