Tried and got error message "Invalid URL" , is it because actual config
does not allow this ?

The error message is:

URL cache_object://localhost/config
Invalid URL

Possible cause:
Missing or incorrect access protocol
Missing hostname
Illegal double-escape in the URL-Path
Illegal character in hostname; underscores are not allowed
