RE: [squid-users] proxy slow due to TCP_MISS

Hi Else,

Thanks for your response. We have two proxy servers in
our company. One is in Melbourne and the other one is
in Sydney. For Melbourne proxy the parent proxy is
Sydney.

I am forwarding all the melbourne proxy requests to
Sydney. But I still want to use my melbourne squid as
both cache and proxy server. At the moment it is not
caching anything on the melbourne proxy server. Sorry
if I am wrong. I see lots of TCP_MISS entries because
the Melbourne proxy server is not caching.

How can I configure my Melbourne proxy to act as
proxy/cache server and also redirect all the requests
to sydney proxy.
