[squid-users] websites not working via squid

We have some users that are running into problems with a couple
websites when accessing via squid:

www.worldatwork.org and
www.profitcents.com

I think profitcents.com isn't working because of the brace character
in the url, but am looking for confirmation or a work around.
www.worldatwork.org It looks like they are using the parent directory
alot for their links example
"../../../aboutus/generic/html/aboutus-contact-frame.jsp", I don't
know if this is allowed for urls also, looking for confirmation that
other users are having problems through squid and possible
workarounds.

We are running 2.5STABLE9 under Linux, Fedora core 2.
