[squid-users] memory question

Runnin Squid 2.5STABLE7 on Linux.

When I look at the memory usage of squid via top I see the following:

13866 squid 25 0 256M 226M 1372 D 21.7 11.2 153:57 0 squid

When I look via mgr:info I see the following:

        CPU Usage, 60 minute avg: 95.96%

        Maximum Resident Size: 0 KB
        Page faults with physical i/o: 10441
Memory usage for squid via mallinfo():
        Total space in arena: 255797 KB
        Ordinary blocks: 233705 KB 3587 blks
        Small blocks: 0 KB 0 blks
        Holding blocks: 10248 KB 10 blks
        Free Small blocks: 0 KB
        Free Ordinary blocks: 22091 KB
        Total in use: 243953 KB 92%
        Total free: 22091 KB 8%
        Total size: 266045 KB

When I look at http://www.squid-cache.org/Doc/FAQ/FAQ-8.html, I see the
following:

In top, the RSS is shown to be 226MB, in the mgr info, the Maximum RS is 0
KB. Which of the two should I believe?
