Two words: memory cache. Reading from memory is much much faster than
reading from disk, so disk reads are cached in memory as much as possible.

Here you see that almost half of your memory is dedicated to caching. So
there's nothing to worry about wrt memory.

Perhaps there's a tuning problem in your tcp stack. Have you changed
anything in /proc/sys/net/ipv4?
