Err, not just a two-liner. Its a quite large patch to the Squid sources
adding these two config options, linking to binary-only code which can
not be audited by anyone outside SF or supported in this forum.

The following is the amount of changes to Squid in the SF modified
version I have seen. Current version may differ somewhat, but probably
not by very much.

 30 files changed, 5712 insertions(+), 23 deletions(-)
+ about 5MB of binary only code.

none of which can be audited by the Squid developers.

Try the same with a clean Squid without the SF patch. If it still
crashes the Squid developers naturally accepts it as a bug.

Note: Clean == Built from clean sources without the SF changes. Not just
disabling the options in the config.

As long as your are running with the SF patch please refer to the SF
support for any stability issues you may have. If the SF support
concludes it's a generic Squid problem not caused by their changes they
are welcome to contact the Squid developers.
