RE: [squid-users] Restarting Squid

Reconfigure won't use a new conf file and will only re-read the conf
file.

I don't see this in RTFM or the FAQ.

RTFM or the FAQ.

Use 'squid -k reconfigure' or 'service squid reconfigure' if it's
supported.
