[squid-users] Using squid as an accelerator

I've been using old version squid as an accelerator for quite a while on an
old Solaris 8 box and it has been working great.

I've just setup a new Solaris 10 box with the latest stable release and have
found a 'qwerk' with it.

I've been accelerating a server that i can't change certain pages on and the
'Log on' button has the url of 'http:///<DAD>/logmeon'

on the old squid this was passed exactly as is, allowing the browser to fix
as 'http://<accelerator>/<DAD>/logmeon'

on the new server squid rewrites it to be 'http://<hidden
server>/<DAD>/logmeon' which doesn't allow external users to access it
unless they rewrite the URL ...

I have been in the process of rewriting the pages on the server, but i'd
really like to get it live now.

Does anyone know of a fix?
