here's what i did with my slackware 11 :
first i use epoll patch for kernel 2.4.33.3 ( the
default kernel for slack 11 ) from
http://www.xmailserver.org/linux-patches/nio-improve.html
next i also download some epoll library source from
that website and copy them to /usr/lib
after that i compile using epoll support and it works.
i believe the problem that libepoll didn't exist even
there was epoll.h or eventpoll.h, i didn't know if
this libepoll already include with another kind of
linux, maybe someone that succeded using epoll with
other linux than slackware would like to share their
experience.
