Please upgrade to the latest Squid-2.6 release - there's been some ongoing
COSS work which I'm sure has fixed this particular bug.

This looks like something Steve Wilton fixed recently. It should be in the
upcoming 2.6.STABLE5 release.

I'm glad to see people using COSS though!
