Then you need to configure the cisco to log/display them.

Make sure you have:

logging buffered debug
logging monitor debug
no logging console

And then 'term mon'. 'show log' should also help you out.
Drop the debugging above down from 'debug' to 'informational' after
you've sorted the problem.
