Upon checking the config.log, the following test seems to be failing:

configure:2775: gcc -c -g -O2 conftest.c >&5
conftest.c:2: error: parse error before "me"
configure:2781: $? = 1
configure: failed program was:
| #ifndef __cplusplus
| choke me
| #endif

Secondly, I have tried the hint given by you and it works. The
question on my mind is what I have done by that
ac_cv_af_unix_large_dgram=no. What I will lose, if at all I do?
Finally is it all documented somewhere?

Regards
