Any recommendations would be much appreciated:
Problem 40k connections in time wait, and running out of file descriptors. (8192)
Content many small images.
Connections per second, 3-5k, short lived.
Timeouts currently set:
dns_timeout 30 seconds
forward_timeout 5 seconds
connect_timeout 5 seconds
peer_connect_timeout 10 seconds
read_timeout 5 seconds
request_timeout 10 seconds
persistent_request_timeout 5 seconds
pconn_timeout 10 seconds
Questions I have are:
Are timeouts adjusted optimally?
What else should be done to clear the time_wait connections?
