Squid is not yet HTTP/1.1 compliant.
HTTP/1.1 is on the wishlist for Squid-3.1.
There is also a http-1.1 patch for Squid-2. But it's a bit incomplete
and finishing the some of the required parts requires quite a bit of
work.. but it's good enough if you want to use Squid as a reverse proxy.
