I swear! I can't understand!

But this morning with all ACL's commented out, again, all works
very very smoothly.
Like a miracle!! :-)

However, if ACL's is turned on after 10 minutes, running squid, speed goes down.

I have the same rules(acl's and http_access) in both servers. There
is only one difference between servers:

Linux server, where all works fine, is using basic scheme
authentication. This is the config:

auth_param basic program /usr/lib/squid/smb_auth -W XYZ -U 192.168.X.X
auth_param basic children 10
auth_param basic realm Servidor proxy
auth_param basic credentialsttl 2 hours
auth_param basic casesensitive off

FreeBSD new server, where speed is too much slow, is using NTLM scheme
authentication. This is the config:

auth_param ntlm program /usr/local/bin/ntlm_auth
--helper-protocol=squid-2.5-ntlmssp
auth_param ntlm children 25
auth_param ntlm keep_alive on

I wanna to believe the problem is relating with authentication scheme.

any suggestions?

regards..
