is it possibly a compiler problem?

gcc 4.2.1 is the only difference on FreeBSD7 I can find ( on the machines
FreeBSD6 with gcc 3.4.6 it compiles fine)

on the other hand, squid compiled with gcc 3.4.6 on FreeBSD6 runs fine on
FreeBSD7
