Dear All,
Please assist.Users behind my squid proxy(version
2.5)cannot do a successful ping to addresses on the
internet e.g www.yahoo.com etc. It comes with this
error: "ping request could not find host
www.yahoo.com, please check the name and try again".
when i use the IP it replies with "request timed out".
The port I use on squid is 2880 and I do not have
firewall configured. The irony is that though this
addresses cannot be pinged, but can be surfed. Please
help out. i need to be able to ping on clients behind
my squid server.
