[squid-users] Cannot access http://www.migente.com/ via Squid

This totally baffles me.
I cannot access http://www.blackplanet.com/ or http://www.migente.com/
via Squid.

Squid is running on port 8888, localhost.

It's squid 2.7.STABLE2-2

# telnet localhost 8888

Nothing ever happens.
I can access the site directly.
