The patch did not have the desired effect. I still exceeded the disk space specified on the partition. After many diskHandleWrite: FD 35: disk write error: (28) No space left on device messages, squid terminated with WARNING: swapfile header inconsistent with available data FATAL: Received Segment Violation...dying. I've installed 3.2.6 with the patch from http://bugs.squid-cache.org/show_bug.cgi?id=3686 My cache_dir line now looks like cache_dir aufs /cache/squid/aufs 3800 15 253 max-size=134217728 maximum_object_size 131072 KB cache_swap_state /var/squid/swap.state I now specify a max-size on the cache_dir line, and I've moved the swap.state file to a different disk partition. So far I've updated 14 of my 61 proxy servers running 3.2. I have another 53 that are stuck on 2.7STABLE9. Mike Mitchell
