Unknown status reply from server:0!

Now I am using SQUID 1.1.5 on a Linux box, and I still get from Netscape a lot of times:

<<Unknown status reply from server:0!>>

I checked the icp.c and I found that an advised patch:

is already included in 1.5.5., was that an avoidable error, or it's due to trumpet/netscape ?
